Dr. Basner is currently chief of plastic surgery at Sinai Hospital and a clinical instructor at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was recently featured in Baltimore Magazine as one of the most successful young professionals in our area. He is board-certified from his plastic surgery fellowship at the prestigious New York University program, where he trained with many of the most well-known plastic surgeons in the world. That was where he had his residency in plastic surgery. Dr. Basner received his degree at Columbia University.

Now he brings the benefits of this advanced training from New York to Baltimore, providing the community with state-of -the-art care. Most of his procedures are performed in our outpatient surgical center or at Johns Hopkins, Sinai Hospital, Greater Baltimore Medical Center, or Northwest Hospital Center.

Dr. Basner is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American College of Surgeons, John Staige Davis Plastic Surgery Society, and the Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of the State of Maryland.
